What's up everyone I have a new beat to share that I made for a YouTube contest. JFilt is having a beat contest and I decided I would dust off the MV8000 and put something together.
Hip Hop has always been influenced by drugs. Whether it was drunken freestyles on the corner, or cannabis inspired stoner verses, drugs have always played a role in music. There is even a sub-genre of rap known as coke rap.
Now the new thing is apparently shooting heroin. The latest viral video is this battle rapper shooting up heroin in the middle of a battle. Well folks, the day has finally come. Spiritual Warfare has dropped. It dropped out of nowhere because I didn't put the time or effort into marketing it. You see, I'm doing things a little backwards. First I drop the album THEN I create the hype for it. Why am I doing it this way? Because I have no clue what I'm doing, that's why. All I know is me and my boys got the hottest hip hop music in the world right now and I'm trying to spread the word! I've recently fallen in love with the Roland MV8000 again. I love the sound and feel of this machine. I was listening to some old projects and came across a nice set of samples already chopped up and some nice drums already loaded. I started playing around and almost instantly had something nice. I spent a little time on it and came out with a nice little banger. This entire track was done within the MV8000 from beat creation > recording > mixing > mastering. I love the MV8000! |
